has a beautiful four page spread in the latest Art Doll Quarterly
magazine on her lovely doll "The Lady of Shallot".
TAODA artist Gwynne Ross taught a workshop on
Story Baskets at 2014 the Houston Puppetry Festival
held in Spring Texas. A Story Basket is used in the classroom
and contains a book and all the characters and props from that story.
Gwynne demonstrated how the characters and props
can be made simply with $1 store items and hot glue.
TAODA artist Neva Waldt, who is also a NIADA artist,
had her work pictured on all of the
NIADA conference materials this year.

Art Doll Quarterly magazine.
Janet Bodin will be participating in two exhibits this Spring.
Janet has two pieces in the Fantastic Fibers 2014 show, which opens April 5 and runs through the end of May at the Yeiser Art Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Janet is also a Special Exhibitor at the Texas City Art Festival. She will have about 20 art dolls on display. The festival runs through April 16 at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center, 2010 5th Avenue North, Texas City.
Janet will be at the opening reception on Saturday, April 12, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. and she would love to see you there!

Exciting News
The January 2013 issue of Doll Collector magazine is full of TAODA! One of Mary Gaines's wonderful Santas is featured in the "Holiday Magic" section, as well as Adriana Esqueda's fabulous "Red Heart Queen" in the Gallery section.
In the "Club News" section there is an article about TAODA's recent program at the Bellaire library. Pictured are the artists in attendance (Angela Jarecki, Marsha Krohn, Theresa May, Janet Bodin, Wilmer LaBome, Pepper Hume, Neva Waldt, Gwynne Ross, Karin Otto-Burfict, Beth Casper, Karin Poulos, Annette Money, and JoAnn Luco), plus additional photos of some of these ladies doing demos.
